Your car should be serviced every 12,500 Miles or 12 Months whichever comes first
A service history is a booklet that details when and where a car received its routine service. Each entry is accompanied by a stamp from the garage that confirms a professional Technician completed the service
In general, a full car service time normally takes around 3-4 hours, assuming no significant issues are encountered, so you should normally have the car back the same day.
An interim (Short) service is often half the time. (if your car is having a service & MOT on the same day we will need the car for most of the day)
A car service plan is a type of extended warranty or maintenance plan that covers the cost of routine service and repairs for a vehicle. The plan typically includes regular oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks, as well as repairs and replacements for certain parts. The plan may be purchased from a dealership or third-party provider and may be offered for a specific period of time, such as 3 years or after a certain amount of miles. The plan can also be offered with different level of coverage like basic, mid and premium.
A service history is a record of the routine maintenance and repairs that have been performed on a vehicle. It typically includes information such as the date of service, the type of service performed, the mileage at the time of service, and the name of the technician or service facility that performed the work. Service history is important because it can provide a detailed record of the vehicle's maintenance and repairs, which can be used to verify the vehicle's condition, identify potential problems, and establish its overall value. Service history can be kept by the owner of the vehicle, dealership or a third-party service providers. It can also be stored in electronic format, allowing for easy tracking and retrieval.
What is actually included in your service will be largely dictated by which type you choose, but a full service will likely involve an engine oil and filter change; a check of all fluids and a full brake check, plus usually checks on over 50 other key components including safety-related features .A more thorough service will check and replace a wider range of components and could include a change of spark plugs and a variety of important filters.
This might be recommended after 24 months or 24,000 miles. A major service usually includes all the checks and changes in the full service, plus some extras. Changes to your car might include: Brake fluid replacement, Cabin filter replacement, Spark plugs replacement, CVT/ Automatic Transmission oil replacement
In order to keep your car's warranty valid, your car will need to be serviced using approved parts. You can get your car serviced anywhere, but by going to a main dealer, you can be sure those all-important approved parts are used.
Most people should change their oil twice a year. Basically, once every six months.

An MOT lasts for a year. The date it runs out is printed on your current MOT pass certificate. You can be fined up to £1,000 for driving a vehicle without a valid MOT. You can get an MOT up to a month (minus a day) before it runs out and keep the same renewal date.
Example: If your MOT runs out on 15 May, the earliest you can get an MOT to keep the same renewal date for next year is 16 April.
You can get an MOT earlier, but the renewal date for the following year will change to one year (minus a day) from the date the vehicle last passed its MOT.
Example: Your MOT is due to run out on 15 May, so the earliest you can get it done is 16 April. However, you take your vehicle for its MOT on 14 April and it passes. This means that the MOT expiry date changes to 13 April the following year.

An MOT (Ministry of Transport) test is a mandatory annual inspection of vehicles in the UK that are at least three years old. The test is designed to ensure that vehicles are safe to drive and meet certain environmental standards. During the test, a qualified inspector will check various parts of the vehicle, including the brakes, suspension, exhaust, tires, lights, and emissions. If the vehicle fails the test, the owner will be given a list of repairs that need to be made in order to pass the test. Once the repairs have been made, the vehicle can be retested. If the vehicle passes the test, the owner will receive an MOT certificate, which must be kept in the vehicle and presented upon request. It is important to note that a vehicle must have a valid MOT certificate in order to be legally driven on UK roads. Find out more about Honda MOT >
