Motability is a worry-free service that helps disabled people and their families in the UK to become more mobile. Over 500,000 people currently have a car with Motability, and it’s nice to know that car can be a Honda!

The Motability Scheme enables people to get mobile by exchanging their mobility allowance to lease a new car.

How it works

You simply exchange all, or part of your mobility allowance to lease the vehicle of your choice. You choose the vehicle you want at a price that works for you, and payments are deducted from your allowance every four weeks, then paid directly to us by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or Veterans UK.

Our standard lease is over three years, or five years if you are leasing a WAV.

Why choose Honda Motabiliy?

For the same reason you would buy a Honda in the first place. When you are dependent on your car, you need it to be reliable, safe and long-lasting. That’s Honda through and through. The Motability package from Honda also takes away so much of the hassle of owning a car, we take care of all the below running costs, so all you need to do is add fuel and go:

Before you lease a vehicle through the Motability Scheme, you’ll need to make sure that you’re happy with the Scheme’s terms and conditions and understand how the vehicle can be used .

How do I join?

Simple. Just exchange either your Higher Rate Mobility Allowance or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement for a brand new car every three years. Some cars will require an Advance Payment, which is payable to your dealer when you collect your car.

Please note that you need to be receiving your allowance for the full length of the agreement. However, if you have at least 12 months award remaining, you’re free to join.
